The fourth steering committee (SC) meeting was held between 19th and 20th of December 2016 in Valencia, Spain. Felipe Laureano Peñaranda Foix hosted the fourth SC meeting at the at Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación, Universitat Politècnica de València. The following SC members were also present: Vedran Podobnik, Lutz Buechner, Marta Mészáros, Birgit Graf, and Jurica Babic.

The summary of the meeting is as follows:

• progress and planning of INNOSOC activities (Zagreb 2017 workshop, intellectual outputs)
• planning of post-INNOSOC activities (application for the next application period).

The next big event is the INNOSOC Valencia 2017 Workshop which will take 14-27 May 2017 in Valencia.
