More than 125 people attended the TeamSoc21 public presentation
The first TeamSoc21 Multiplier Event was held on 22 February 2018 in Zagreb, Croatia. The morning programme was held at the University of Zagreb Rector’s Office while the afternoon session was hosted by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb. More than 125 people listened to presentations of leading Croatian experts in the field of ICT-based entrepreneurship, who provided insights into hot ICT topics – “entrepreneurship in ICT” and especially “entrepreneurship with ICT”. Damir Boras, the rector of the University of Zagreb welcomed the participants and Gordan Gledec, vice-dean for science of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb talked about the role of STEM education in today’s society. Antonija Gladovic, the head of Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes talked about the 30 years of ERASMUS programmes and Daniel Ackerman, the CEO and founder of Degordian, a successfull Croatian software development firm, presented his entrepreneurial success story. Furthermore, the TeamSoc21 2018 Multiplier Event Report was presented which describes the five entrepreneurial cases of TeamSoc21 Zagreb Workshop. In the afternoon session, a panel discussion was held where high school students could share their thoughts on the current state of entrepreneurial studies in Croatia. Finally, the TeamSoc21 2018 blended mobility was launched and 39 participating students coming from 12 universities from 8 EU countries were presented.
